Free and Reduced School Fees
Stargate school offers financial assistance for school fees to our Stargate families who qualify. More information to come as the process has changed.
Eligibility - NEW INFORMATION TO COME
Your student(s) may qualify for free or reduced school fees if your household income meets the USDA Income Eligibility Guidelines (based on household size and income), or if your family currently receives SNAP benefits. Your students(s) may also qualify if they are considered to be a foster child, migrant, homeless, or runaway.
How to Apply - NEW INFORMATION TO COME
To see if you qualify for free or reduced school fees, please submit a paper application. We ask that you complete the application to maximize available funding from state and federal resources, as well as to provide certain other benefits that may be available for your student(s).
Step #1 - the Parent/Guardian will need to complete and submit the following information:
Family Economic Data Application Form (FEDS) // Instructions for Completing the FEDS Application Form
Step #2 - please place completed forms in a sealed envelope addressed to Stargate–FRL and deliver to the Secondary front office or email to sheila.mischke@stargateschool.org. New applications must be completed every school year.
Note - Families who have already filled out a Free and Reduced Lunch application with Adams12 or another school/district, are not automatically considered Free or Reduced eligible at Stargate. Please complete the forms listed above to be considered for eligibility at Stargate. We are not affiliated with the food service program through the Adams 12 school district. Stargate School does not participate in the National School Lunch or Breakfast programs.

School Fees Benefits- NEW INFORMATION TO COME
School fees discounts for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch include:
Free Rate - for students qualifying for Free Lunch as defined by Federal Guidelines - regular school fees are waived
Reduced Rate - for students qualifying for Reduced Lunch as defined by Federal Guidelines - regular school fees will be 1/2 of the regular fee
