Activities & Clubs

At Stargate, we recognize that all students - especially those hard-wired as perfectionists -  need safe spaces to try new things. Clubs and extra-curricular activities can be a great opportunity for students to stretch beyond their comfort zones, take positive risks and connect with peers who share similar interests and goals. Students have fun, while at the same time developing skills like leadership, problem-solving, setting and achieving goals, working in teams and communication.

How Do I Get Involved?

Students may decide to join an existing group or opt to recruit a sponsor and start a new one. Details about meeting times, membership requirements and expectations for group members are shared via email as well as at our annual "clubs fair" where students can meet peers already involved and decide if the group is a fit. You should also watch for announcements in teacher updates, principal newsletters and other Stargate communications vehicles.
