High School FBLA

Recently, the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club had a virtual visit with Grit and Glory Landscaping to learn about business processes and procedures. Students learned about the daily tasks such as bookkeeping and customer service, how their company is catering their business model to a specific customer base and how the managers balance the dates and deadlines with their many other responsibilities. Students enjoyed learning how the co-owners balance their strengths and utilize their time management and organizational skills to grow their business. Through this visit, the Stargate FBLA chapter intends to further members’ understanding of the American Business Enterprise and inform them of daily life in the workforce. It was a great opportunity for our members to work with a small business and develop ideas to support our members as they prepare to be leaders in business and entrepreneurship.
