Strategic Plan
Framework for Success
All planning at Stargate starts with the school's mission & vision.
Strategic Plan
Stargate's Strategic Plan outlines goals and initiatives to deliver an Exemplary Gifted Program. The plan includes five areas of focus with specific goals and initiatives for each - all crafted to help guide the school's leaders, staff and stakeholders in working toward the long-term success of the school while also striving to meet the day-to-day needs of each student.
The plan is cascaded each year to ensure alignment from top to bottom and in between.
Focus Areas:
Exemplary Staff
Engaged Community
Differentiated Learning Environment
Responsible Leadership
Financial Stability
Quarterly KPI Updates
The School Accountability Committee (SAC) tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - high-level, quantifiable measurements of the school’s critical success factors - and provides quarterly updates to the Board and the Stargate community. For questions, email accountability@stargateschool.org
Annual Stakeholder Survey
The School Accountability Committee (SAC) conducts two confidential stakeholder surveys each year, one to parents/guardians and the other to Stargate staff. Both surveys are typically conducted in December/January.
Survey results are presented at the Stargate State of the School meeting, typically held in April. Survey results are used to:
Create recommendations for the Governance Board
Prepare reports for the State of the School presentation
Guide the Governance Board in their reviews of the Administration
Monitor progress toward Stargate’s goals

Annual Stakeholders Meeting
Stargate's leadership team hosts a community meeting each fall - usually in September - to walk through the school's Strategic Plan, share progress against goals and update stakeholders on key school issues.
