Board of Directors Election Candidate Forum

The Recruiting Committee will be hosting a Candidate Forum on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 in the Stargate Performing Arts Center. All questions for the candidates will be asked by a moderator, no questions will be taken from the floor. The Book Fair is Coming!  The Book Fair is Coming!

The USBORNE BOOKS & MORE BOOK FAIR is coming to Stargate, April 29th thru May 3rd, in the Elementary Library.  We are very excited to share these books and the fun of reading with you. We will have lots of books, for all reading levels. Teachers especially love the amazing non-fiction titles. Our school benefits and earns books/cash from every purchase, so we appreciate your support! Showing your child that reading really matters is one of the best examples you can possibly set.

Can't make it to the fair? Shop online and support our school. Simply go to, select Stargate, and shop.

I hope all you cool cats will join us because READING ROCKS at the book fair!

Thur-Friday 7:30-4pm

We are looking for volunteers on Monday, April 29th between 8-11am to help set up. We are also need volunteers to help tear down on May 3rd after 4pm. Please contact to sign up.

The 2nd grade Girl Scout Troop 771 is sponsoring a book drive to benefit A Precious Child.  Please bring your new or used Children's or Young Adult Books to Stargate and place them in the yellow collection bin at the front of the Elementary Office.  The girls are hosting this book drive in order to complete their World of Girls Journey, wherein they needed to take action to make the world a better place. Have too many books to bring to school?  Please contact their leader Paige at 303-868-2382 and she will take them off your hands.

Secondary Instructional Hours Update

The Colorado Department of Education will not requires schools to make up instructional time lost due to the school closure on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Therefore, the Stargate Secondary schedule for the remainder of the year will not require any additional changes.

Spring i-Ready Testing

Elementary and Middle School students will be starting Spring i-Ready testing this week. Middle school students will test in their Connect class over the next few weeks. Middle school families, please remind your student to bring their fully charged computer, charging cord and headphones to school.

Community Relations Committee

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is coming up very soon!  CRC is organizing something special each day of the week: Monday 6th: Jamba Juice; Tuesday 7th: lunch; Wednesday 8th: breakfast; Thursday 9th: gift cards and teacher appreciation notes delivery; Friday 10th: coffee and bagels.

NEW King Soopers Fundraising Program--Enroll your Soopers Card TODAY to earn $$ for Stargate each time you shop.

This new program does not require RELOADING of gift cards! In an effort to simplify community giving, King Soopers has launched the Community Rewards program.  No longer will you need to reload gift cards to earn for Stargate – all you need to do is link your loyalty card to Stargate Charter School NU811 and shop with King Soopers just like you always do!

** Balances on your old rechargeable fundraising card are now the same as cash.  The old cards may still be reloaded for your convenience, but do not earn for Stargate unless used for a loyalty card purchase.

Lost and Found

Please check the front offices for misplaced glasses, jewelry and other small items that have been turned in. All items left in the lost and found at the end of the school year will be donated.
