TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY THAT NOMINATIONS FOR BOARD POSITIONS ARE OPEN

The nominating period for 3 open board seats ends TONIGHT at 5 pm. Two seats are for 3 year terms and one seat is for a 1 year term. If you are interested in running for the board, the nominating form can be found HERE. Information on what is expected of board members can be found HERE. If you desire more information, please contact the Stargate Recruiting Committee at recruiting@stargateschool.org

This year, all candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves briefly at the State of the School on April 24 and the Recruiting Committee will be hosting a moderated forum for the candidates on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30pm. Please be prepared to attend both of these events if running for a board position.

 

Submit Questions For Candidate Forum on May 2

This year, the Recruiting Committee is hosting a Candidate Forum on May 2 at 6:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center; questions for the candidates can be submitted using this FORM. As many community questions as feasible will be included during the Forum, although similar questions covering similar topics may be consolidated in order to cover a broader range of issues within the time available for the Forum.

Adroit Expo - Friday April 19, 2019


We invite our entire community to our Adroit Expo Day on Friday, April 19, 2019. This is a day where students will present their passion projects.

  • Students will present with their class during the session listed below.

  • All students with animals will present during Session 1

  • When not presenting, students will have a passport that will be used to visit others and make connections to spark new ideas.

  • ALL students will check in with their teacher before and after each session.

  • At the end of the day, each student will complete a reflection back in their classroom.

  • We will have SIX food trucks: 2 Kona Ice Trucks, IPie Pizza Truck, Mac’n Noodles, Sizzle Food Truck - Tacos, Farmer Joe’s Food Truck. Elementary parents must be with their children if they get food at the food trucks, otherwise students will need to bring a lunch or get Pizza Friday lunch (must be ordered 2 days in advance). Secondary students may bring cash for food trucks.  

  • Pizza Friday lunch will be served for students who have ordered at least 2 days in advance from My Kids Lunch
