Parent Survey

Executive Director Search Survey

As we begin the search for a new Stargate Executive Director, we would like input from the Stargate community about what you think are the most important characteristics to look for in this candidate. We will use results from this survey to guide our interview questions and evaluation process.  We are posting the position description for our new Executive Director soon. 10 things you need to know about the Stargate "Totally Awesome 80's" Gala

1) When, What, Where, Who and Why

When: March 9th What: 2019 Stargate's Annual Fundraising Gala Where: at The Omni Interlocken Resort Who: You, of course! Why: To have fun and to help meet our fundraising goals;  a substantial amount of our fundraising dollars will support the new entrance from 144th, as well as the paving of the proposed overflow lot.

You may also turn in the RSVP card to the Stargate front desk including payment (cash or check made out to "Stargate School").Tickets are $75 each or purchase a table for 10 for $725.

Please note that options to enter meal choices and seating requests are NOT available in our new Gala RSVP system.  You will be receiving an email shortly after your registration (within a week) requesting your meal choice and seating request, if any.  Please respond to that email with your choices so we can track them for the Gala! We apologize for this inconvenience as we work through this new provider!  Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated!


3) The  LAST day to register/RSVP is February 22nd. The dinner menu is located HERE .


4) Eagle's Landing Childcare during the Gala It's a Pajama Party! Eagle's Landing will be providing childcare (for kids 5 years and older) from 4:30 to 11:30 p.m. for Gala attendees for a minimal fee of $10 per child for the entire evening. Eagle's Landing will be at Stargate School to care for the kiddos and it will be a night of fun! Please note: You must sign up for Eagle's Landing when you register for the Gala.

8) Art Contest - Stargate Gala 2019 Program Front Cover Contest

Calling all artists -- would you like your original artwork to be on the front cover of the Stargate Gala 2019 program? If so, the Stargate Fundraising Committee is looking for your art!! Click HERE for detailed Art Contest rules. Contest ends February 22nd.


9) Gala Raffle -  Raffle tickets are for sale! This year we are raffling a parking space in any of our lots (except for the loop).

Upcoming events

1) Collect these items now thru February 22nd: Box Tops, Longmont Dairy Milk Caps and Tyson Labels. Box Tops are worth .10¢ each, Longmont Dairy Milk Caps are worth .05¢ each and Tyson labels are worth .24¢ each. Simply insert these items into a plastic bag with the name of your child’s homeroom teacher and drop  off in the general collection container near the front office OR deliver to your child’s homeroom teacher. The class with the most of each type of item will have their choice of: an ice cream sundae party or a rootbeer float party!


2) February 25th: Stargate School Spirit Night hosted by Chick-fil-A Orchard Park Place. Join us for food and fun on Monday, February 25th from 5pm-8pm t o support Stargate! 10% of sales will go to support our school.


3)  March 16th: Spirit Night with the Denver Nuggets

Join us for an amazing night on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 as the Denver Nuggets take on the Indiana Pacers at the Pepsi Center. Stargate Spirit night with the Denver Nuggets basketball team includes the special Pre-Game warm-up opportunity. Only people who purchase through this link will have access to enter before the doors open, sit in our VIP seats and watch both NBA teams warm up for the pregame shoot around!

Game starts at 7pm at The Pepsi Center.

Stargate’s 12th Annual Dodgeball tournament included 29 teams and was attended by over 300 spectators. Thank you to the Cheerleaders for getting us in the spirit of the night, to the concessions team who kept us refreshed, to all the referees, the bracket keepers, ball setters, and the registration/sign-in attendants.  Thanks to Pamela McCann for all her hard work putting together the brackets and keeping track of them at the tournament. Also a huge SHOUT-OUT to Oscar Torres for being our master of ceremonies.

Adroit Expo Day- Friday April 19, 2019

Save the date for our 3rd Annual Adroit Expo Day, Friday, April 19th. The Adroit Expo Day is the day where all students will present their Adroit Expo project for the entire community to enjoy. On this day we will have a modified daily schedule and students will present their projects in shifts for their classmates and community members to enjoy. More information about this day will be provided when we get closer to April 19th. All students in grades K-12 will develop a project that highlights their interests and passions. Some grade levels have already begun working on their project and some will begin in the next few weeks. Grade level work on the

Adroit Expo projects will take place in the following classes:

  • K-5th grade: Homeroom Class

  • 6th Grade: Adroit Class

  • 7th Grade Connect Class

  • 8th Grade: Adroit Class

  • 9th - 11th Grade: Adroit Class

  • 12th grade : Eagle Hour Class (they will present their capstone project)

The Adroit Expo project is different than Adroit class that all students in grades K-12 will experience throughout the school year. You can access the K-12 Adroit class Program Plan here for more information about Adroit class at each grade level.

Lost and Found

Please check the tables for items belonging to your student. It is helpful to write their name on their jackets, lunchboxes, we can try to get them returned. All items left in Lost and Found will be donated over Spring Break.
