Welcome Back

Welcome back and happy new year to all! I have to confess that I had a relaxing and fun break with my family. Many hours were spent playing ping pong, cooking, watching movies, and I even started to crochet baby blanket for Mr. Varel’s new baby. It might be finished before she turns two, but here’s hoping that she can have it before the end of the school year.

The year is back into full swing as we finish the second half of the school year. We are excited about what the students will learn and experience as they continue to grow here at Stargate.

Stargate Parent Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey

Attention all parents! We need to hear your voice! The School Accountability Committee is conducting the annual confidential Parent Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey. The survey is open January 5-19, 2018. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6Q3Q853

The goal of this survey is to gauge how Stargate is meeting the needs of your children and family.

Specifically, these results are used to:
Create recommendations for the Governance Board
Prepare reports for the State of the School presentation
Guide the Governance Board in their reviews of the Administration
Monitor progress toward Stargate’s goals

The survey is anonymous!  No names or IP address are collected.

You can win a $50 Amazon gift card!
To enter the drawing, please complete the following steps upon completion of the survey:
1. Print the final page (the confirmation page).
2. Write your child’s name and homeroom teacher’s name for Elementary, name and grade for Secondary on the page.
3. Return it to the front desk or send it to class with your student.
Only one entry per household permitted.

THANK YOU for your participation!

If you have any questions please email accountability@stargateschool.org

The bus will leave Stargate Elementary School on Thursday, February 8th at 7:00 AM and return to the school at 6:00 PM. The $110 fee includes the cost for transportation, equipment rental, all day ski lesson, lift ticket and lunch. Students can bring their own equipment, but we cannot negotiate any price reduction. BYOD Guidelines for 5th Grade Families

In Stargate Middle and High School, students are expected to have their own device and bring it daily to school.  With Holiday shopping deals, we thought it would be helpful for you to have this in case you want to find a great deal for your student!
