Girls on the Run Coaching Opportunity

Stargate will offer Girls on the Run for the fourth season and we are looking for a few more coaches to join our team.  Coaches work directly with 3rd-5th grade girls – teaching them healthy habits and training them to run a 5K race. GotR provides training and all the lessons.  No experience necessary, and no need to be a runner! Some of us run, others walk, but we all enjoy teaching positive social/emotional/physical health and life skills to the girls. The season is 10 weeks long, twice a week from 3-4:30. Please contact Theresa Grzebinski (magpiefoy@yahoo.com or 720-261-0555) for more info. We’d love to have you join our team!

A Word From the Counseling Office

After a lot of contemplation and discussions with my husband, I have decided to stay home with Waverly, our daughter, next year. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to do this and have absolutely loved being a Mom! She is my entire world :) I absolutely love Stargate and have had an amazing time over the past two years! It was a very difficult decision because I do love being the elementary counselor at Stargate, but we know that we are making the right decision for our little family.

I am 100% here until the end of the school year and look forward to the April and May. If there is anything you need the rest of the school year, please let me know. Thank you for the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful families in the Stargate community!
