MS Student Government Week With No Hate

Middle School Student Government will be implementing a week with no hate the week of September 18th.  STUGO has different activities everyday to encourage kindness, respect, no bullying, and showing the true Stargate Way not only that week, but every week.  STUGO wants to show the importance of always being nice.  This week will lead to STUGO’s launch of “Dude Be Nice”.  Dude Be Nice is a simple an effective way to encourage kindness, respect, acceptance, and inclusivity on a daily basis.

The focus in Adroit is developing the Design Thinking mindset within our students and community. Design Thinking is a set of skills that prepares students to solve large, complex, cross-curricular, real world problems by teaching them effective ways of thinking and collaborating.  As we start the school year off fresh, we will be needing materials to be repurposed. A big part of innovation is seeing new ways to use ordinary items, or ways to combine old ideas in a new way. Having lots of cheap objects with many aspects and features makes for much more interesting designs than having things with specific stock functions:expensive wheels, hinges, motors, etc. During the course of the year we will be needing low-resolution materials and other handy items to prototype and bring our ideas to life! Click here for a list of items needed for Adroit (both Middle and High School lists are the same)

Middle and High School Fall Conferences

We are anticipating shortest wait time on Thursday, October 12, 10am-2:30pm. Please see below for schedule:

HS Ultimate Frisbee Team

On September 7th, Stargate High Schools new Ultimate Frisbee team traveled to Monarch High School where they scrimmaged against their Junior Varsity team. Stargate's Ultimate players put on an excellent showing and many students, despite being new to the game, made huge plays on the field. Afterwards, both of Monarch's and Stargate's players joined together to congratulate each other on their hard play and mutual respect for one another. Stargate Ultimate thanks all the parents who also made the trip out to Monarch to cheer on our players. Stargate Ultimate frisbee club is still recruiting any interested male or female high school student and is open to everyone regardless of athletic ability or prior playing experience. Stargate Ultimate practices Tuesdays from 4 to 6 P.M. and plays games on Thursdays. We're super excited about our start to this year and look forward to our future at Stargate! Please contact coach Dave Janociak  at if you have any questions.
