SCHOOL FEES

We have one month left in the 2016-2017 school year. Please take a moment to check you IC account under fees to see if you have a balance.  All unpaid school fees should be paid in full by June 15th so we can close our 2016-2017 school year budget. Monthly statements will be sent out May 2nd and then again on June 1st.  If you have questions regarding your account, feel free to contact deirdre.carlile@stargateschool.org and she will be happy to provide assistance where needed.

For the 2017-2018 school year (most) all of the school year fees will be posted by June 15th for parents to see and pay over the summer if interested.  We have decided to post the fees earlier so that you are aware of student(s) fees before registration in August. Middle School Tech Free Thursday

Every Thursday until the end of the year, we are implementing Middle School Tech Free Thursday before school and at lunch. This will not impact classes and students will still be expected to have their computers in class, ready to use when directed.

Before school and at lunch we are going to encourage all middle school students to have conversations with their classmates and/or go outside rather than use technology. If your student tends to spend lunch time on their computer, please have a conversation with them about what else they can do on Thursday. You can suggest that they bring a deck of cards to play or take a walk around the grassy quad area between all the buildings. You can give them some conversation starters or encourage them to learn one new thing about each of their friends each Thursday.
