Thanksgiving Food Drive -  Elementary vs Secondary!  DUE Wednesday 11/16/16

Join our Battle Royal Food Drive that has been organized by our high school students with Food for Hope, supplying food to families in need in our North Denver community. The building with the most donated canned food will win a lunch-time celebration!

We would like students/parents to drop off food items between Tuesday, November 8th and Wednesday, November 16th in the main lobby building. This is a great chance for you to talk to your student about helping people in need and support some of our local families during this holiday season. Please help by bringing in any of the needed items listed below (no glass please):

  • Canned Green Beans

  • Instant Potatoes

  • Boxes of Stuffing

  • Muffin/Cornbread Mix

  • Gravy

  • Canned Corn

  • Canned Fruit

  • Dessert Mix

  • Canned Cranberries

On November 16th, all our sophomore students will put together Thanksgiving baskets for local families during Adroit.

Adroit

Middle School Adroit students recently completed an Introduction to Basic Tools session in which they learned how to work with glue guns, screwdrivers, saws, hammers, drills, box cutters, and staple guns. Thank you to the 24 volunteers spent a collective 216 hours with us, and assisted nearly 300 students! Now that's the Stargate Way!

PSAT 9 - 9th Grade

This group of students will take the PSAT 10 in the spring of 2018, the PSAT in the fall of 2018, and the SAT in the spring of 2019. More information about the PSAT 9 can be found here.

PSAT 10 - 10th Grade

In preparation for taking the SAT next year, all sophomores will be introduced to a SAT test prep program though the Khan Academy on the morning of November 29th . This group of students will then take the PSAT 10 this spring, the PSAT next fall, and the SAT in the spring of 2018. More information about the test prep program can be found here.
