2/13/17 - C Notes update

The Grant Committee has submitted an application for the Adams County Open Space Grant. If we are awarded this grant, money will be used to add a nature trail on the east side of our campus and build a greenhouse, as well as complete the campus with amenities such as picnic tables and bike racks. On February 22nd at 5:30PM, the Open Space Advisory Board will be holding a meeting to hear presentations from all of the applicants, as well as hear from community members who wish to speak on behalf of a project. We are looking for members of our wonderful Stargate community to come out and show support for our Community Open Space project! Anybody who wishes to speak will get 2 minutes to share their views about how this project will benefit the community. Please mark the date and plan to come show your support! For more information on this project and the meeting, please reach out to the Grant Committee at

Just a reminder that the Grant committee presents its grant application to the Open Space Advisory Board tomorrow at 5:30 pm. It would be wonderful to have a packed house to show our community support and engagement. The meeting begins at 5:30 at 9755 Henderson Road in Brighton. That is the Adams County Rec & Open Space Building. If we receive the grant we will be able to build a nature trail with spaces for exercise equipment and public display of art. We will also be able to build a greenhouse and install amenities like bike racks, benches, and picnic tables around the campus. If you can make it, please come show your support.
