About Me
I am so excited to be part of the Stargate community. The 2018-19 school year marks my tenth year with the school, each year bringing a deeper passion for teaching and gifted learners. I truly value the students and teachers that I get to be with each day as they inspire me to continue learning and growing along with them.

This year I will be half time, teaching theme only (during the mornings). I am excited to be able to spend more time with my son while keeping up with my love of being in the classroom.

My educational background includes a Masters in Elementary Education along with a Bachelors in Communication. I am also endorsed in Gifted Education and have enjoyed implementing these gifted best practices into our everyday classroom.

I am Colorado born and raised and couldn't imagine living in another place. I have a fantastic husband of twelve years and a five-year-old son. We enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, cooking, being outdoors, and relaxing with our dog Ozzie.

How to Contact Me

Blogging
I will update the theme blog (which is highlighted below) weekly.  This update will include what we're focusing on in class, important dates, and happenings at Stargate. Subscribe to the blogs' RSS so that you can watch for updates from all of your child's classes.

Grading
I keep all grades on Infinite Campus which you can access from the menu on the left. Grades are updated at the end of each week. If an *m is entered as the score the assignment is missing, if the score is blank the assignment grade has not yet been entered.
