Ms. A and I would like to thank you for making Teacher Appreciation Week so special!  We are truly grateful! :)

Thank you to all the moms and special women who came to our Muffins for Moms celebration last week. We really enjoyed getting to celebrate YOU!

Thursday a volunteer from the National Dog Mill Rescue will come to our classroom as we will grant them their $400 dollar check. If you would please have your child wear their "I love dogs" shirt from Adroit day that would be amazing!

Our very last Chain of Kindness party will be this Friday, May 17th. If you would like to bring popsicles please let me know. :) We will not wear jammies, instead we will have an extra outdoor recess!

The kindergarten graduation information sheet went home last Monday. If you have any questions about graduation please do not hesitate to ask. I would highly recommend a lot of tissues for the big day!

Important Date:

May 17th- Last chain of kindness party

May 24 Kindergarten Graduation!

Have a great week!

Thank you so much for all that were able to join us at the Adroit Expo! The kindies had a blast and we were so thrilled with the amount of money we made on our shirts. Once I get the final total, I will let you all know:)

This Friday is our last field trip. We are excited to visit the Denver Zoo.  I will pick our chaperones out of a hat tomorrow and let them know. These chaperones will come with us on the bus and other chaperones, please meet us there.  Parents, please pack a sack lunch and drink (don’t forget to put your child’s name on it!) for the trip. Please do not pack your child’s lunch in a regular lunch box or in plastic Tupperware containers, as we will be throwing everything away at the zoo. A paper or plastic bag with your child’s name on it will be perfect. Also, please have your child wear their purple kindergarten Stargate shirts! Please apply all sunblock to your child before they come to school. Teachers are not permitted to apply sunblock.

Field Day will be Wednesday, May 8th.  We want to invite all families to join us as we celebrate the end of a wonderful year at Stargate. Please mark your calendars so you can be with us and join in the fun!

We have decided to order pizza for lunch on Field Day! The pizza forms are coming home today if you would like your child to participate in our pizza party. We will all eat together in our classroom on this day. If you would like to volunteer to bring fruit, drinks or a dessert for the students to enjoy with their pizza, please email me or talk to me at drop- off! Pizza forms are due back this Friday, May 3rd, so we can accurately place our pizza order! :)

Our Passion project is underway and almost complete.  Thank you so much for ordering the t-shirts if you have already done so, if not PLEASE turn in your order form by tomorrow!  It would be so wonderful to see all the students (and parents) wearing this shirt on Adroit day! Meryl Faulkner (Shaylee’s mom) sent out an email last week with the order form and ways to make payment. Here is the link to buy the shirts. https://forms.gle/s1Gsk6dav7cZgLva8

Please email me or Meryl if you have any questions.  These shirts are going to be so adorable and of course they are for a good cause! There is only one more step in this process.

I am asking you to please take a picture of your child showing love to an animal and send it in.  This could be feeding the family pet, or hugging someone else's animal. We will put all the pictures on a tri-fold board to have displayed at our exhibit.  Please have these pictures turned in no later than Monday, April 15th.
