Mrs. Bowman

About Me:

I love being part of the Stargate community! This will be my third year at Stargate and my eighth year of teaching overall. In the past, I have taught junior kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I have six years of experience working with gifted students. I'm originally from Red Lake Falls, Minnesota but have happily called Colorado my home for the past six years. I graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Master's degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with minors in Psychology and Special Education. I am currently taking classes, along with many of my Stargate colleagues, to obtain my Gifted Endorsement.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, biking, running, volunteering and coaching Girls on the Run! I have been married to my amazing husband for five years. Our miniature poodle, Bauer, brings us so much love and joy.

What I Love about Teaching Kindergarten:

Kindergarten is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. I only have the opportunity to work with your child for a short period of time in his/her life and I want to make a contribution that will last a lifetime. I have a passion for helping students reach their fullest potential and strive to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child's years of schooling.
