Mr. Van Patten

About Me

Hi I am Craig Van Patten and I am excited to be teaching for the fourth year on the 4th grade team at Stargate. Prior to Stargate, I taught for 15 years in the Adams 12 Five Star School district. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in History and a teaching endorsement in K-6 education. I have lived in Colorado for 20 years. Both of my children attend Stargate so I get the pleasure of seeing the school as a parent and a teacher. My son Marcus is a sixth grader this year and my daughter Brooke is a fourth grader. In my spare time, I love all things that have to do with sports. Coaching takes up a lot of my free time as I am Head Coach of the boys basketball team here at Stargate. I am so excited to be a part of the Stargate community!

What I Love about Teaching
I love coming to work every day and making a difference in the lives of children. My goal is to make school a place where learning is fun and inspire life long learners.
