Hola padres! It's hard to believe it's already the last week of the year! Time has flown by with my Kindergartners and I am going to miss them so much next year. I am comforted by the fact that they will be in great hands with our new Spanish teacher. This week in Kindergarten Spanish we will be finishing up with body parts and celebrating a wonderful trimester with a fiesta! There is no new list this week (see last week's post for body parts).

Learning Objectives:
1) Students will be able to label body parts in Spanish on a diagram.
2) Students will celebrate a successful trimester in Spanish with a fiesta!

On Monday, I will present the body parts vocabulary to the A Day class, we will learn our final song, I will do some storytelling, students will fill out a diagram to label body parts and we will finish up with a game of Simon Says.

On Tuesday, the B Day class will have their end of trimester fiesta!

On Wednesday, the A Day class will have their fiesta!

On Thursday, we will not have specials due to the last day of school.

On Friday, we do not have school due to a Professional Development Day. Enjoy your summer!!! :)

Homework Spanish folders will come home for the last time with the A Day class on Monday. Please review the Unit 4 words with your child, sign the sheet and return it BY ITSELF by Wednesday (5/23-A Day ONLY). Please keep folders at home for next year if they are still in good shape!

Other Important InfoFor the parties, we will be watching a movie, making some crafts and I will bring in some yummy treats to share with the class. Students are welcome to bring treats as well but they MUST come with an ingredient list as we do have serious food allergies! Thank you for helping me to keep our students safe! Students may also wear their jammies and bring ONE stuffy to cuddle with during the movie.

As always, thank you for reading and for a wonderful trimester with your students! Have a great summer! :)
