This week I will be gone with the 7th graders at Cheley.  There will be a substitute in the class on Monday and Tuesday.  Wednesday the 6th graders will be looking at study skills and social interaction with Mrs. McVeigh, Mr. DeFord, Mr. Fulton, and Dr. Pegler.

I look forward to seeing all of you at conferences on Thursday and Friday.

On Monday and Tuesday, students will be watching the movie Holes and completing an activity comparing and contrasting the book and the movie.  Students may bring in snacks (maybe peaches, onions (Funyuns, onion rings), and sunflower seeds?) to share with the class.
On Tuesday, the test over Vocabulary 3 list words will be given.

Students should be working on their Writer's Notebooks at home.  This is a place to record thoughts, ideas, pondering, wondering, observations, etc. They need to write in it 2 times a week for 10 minutes (Period 5) or 20 minutes (Period 6) each time.

I will put all homework assignments on my calendar at the bottom of the page. Please check it daily. If you cannot see the calendar, have your child look at their Google calendars as I have shared my assignment calendar with them.
