Students have been assigned projects designed around a theme of Holes or Surviving the Applewhites. They will have class time every day this week to work on these projects. Students will choose which project they are completing and are responsible for providing materials for the project. Please see the files below for the rubrics for each project.  These are due November 16.  They will begin presenting the projects to the class on that date.

Monday: Work on project
Tuesday: Work on project
Wednesday: No School Veteran's Day
Thursday: Work on project
Friday: Work on project

All missing assignments pertaining to Holes or Surviving the Applewhites are due Friday, November 20.  After that date I will no longer accept any missing assignments for this unit.

Students need to continue writing in their home writer's notebook.  As a reminder, this is a place to record thoughts, ideas, pondering, wondering, observations, etc. They need to write in it 2 times a week for 20 minutes each time, which should consist of a page. They may also type their entries, but the typed pages must be cut neatly and glued or taped into the notebook.  The next due date is Friday, December 11.  They should have 15 more entries for a total of 30 entries.

I will put all homework assignments on my calendar at the bottom of the page. Please check it daily.
