Dinner Table Talking Points

We know that kids often say they have nothing to talk about when asked about their day at school. Here are a few suggestions to help get them talking about what they learned and experienced this week. Ask your child...

1. To tell you what 2716 cents equals ($27.16).

2. To tell you about their class gem party.

3. To tell you what the decimal point is for when working with dollars and cents.

4. To tell you how well they did on their Unit 9 test.

5. To tell you why it is important to learn about money.
