Dinner Table Talking Points

We know that kids often say they have nothing to talk about when asked about their day at school. Here are a few suggestions to help get them talking about what they learned and experienced this week. Ask your child...

1. To tell you how many grams in a kilogram.

2. To tell you how many pints are in a gallon.

3. To help you cook or bake this week using different measuring tools.

4. To give you examples of objects that weight about one pound.

5. To give you the abbreviations for pounds (lbs) and ounces (oz).
