This week we will spend time creating our own realistic fiction characters, writing our own narratives, and working in our Daily 5 stations.

The students will be responsible for their Reading Log (white) and Spelling Menu (pink) this week. Both will be due this Friday, April 21st. Their spelling test will be on Friday, April 21st

Dinner Table Talking Points

We know that kids often say they have nothing to talk about when asked about their day at school. Here are a few suggestions to help get them talking about what they learned and experienced this week. Ask your child...

1. To tell you about their passion project.

2. To tell you about the character they are creating for their realistic fiction narrative.

3. To tell you about Expo Day! :)

4. To tell you about the "setting" in their own narrative that they are writing.
