This week, we will read "Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business". We will discuss the book together and share many laughs as a class. In writing, we will finish our opinion paragraphs and create our own realistic fiction narrative.

The students will receive new spelling lists. Their next test will not be until Friday, April 21st. They will also receive a Reading Log. This will be due this Friday, April 14th.

Dinner Table Talking Points

We know that kids often say they have nothing to talk about when asked about their day at school. Here are a few suggestions to help get them talking about what they learned and experienced this week. Ask your child...

1. To give you three character traits of Junie B. Jones.

2. To tell you about the character they are creating for their realistic fiction narrative.

3. To make a text to self connection with Junie B. Jones.

4. To tell you what their favorite part of their field trip was last week.
