  • Chapter 9
    • Probability of Simple Events
    • Carnival

  • Tuesday, students will have a game day to test their individual probability calculations. We modeled and tested a few ways to incorporate probability into their games in class today (i.e. dice, coins, candy, spinners). Students will make predictions and need to calculate probable outcomes, and them have a process in which to test it with other students.
    • Summaries are due Thursday 4-21-17
      • Include theoretical probability and experimental probability
  • Homework is contingent upon each individual demonstration of understanding; please see planners for specific assignments. If you feel that your child may benefit from additional practice, he/she is always permitted to complete the entire independent practice, even when only odd numbers were assigned.

  • Carnival and related work
