This week we will continue to read To Kill a Mockingbird. This is a challenging text and our first task is to understand the complexities of the story itself and the troubled times of segregation. Once we have moved through the story, we will go back and analyze the writing craft and techniques that the author used to make this such a timeless classic. Students may either choose to read silently or with a a group.

Monday - Chapters 9 & 10 Christmas at the Finch's
Tuesday - Chapter 11 - The loss of Mrs. Dubose
Wednesday - Vocab 5 review
Thursday - Review Part i
Friday - Part II, Aunt Alexandria comes to town
