Ms. Kim


About Me
I am thrilled to be a part of the Stargate family!  The 2017-2018 school year will be my first at Stargate, but have been working with primary students since 2009.  I have taught 1st grade in Boulder Valley Schools, Adams 12, and in Nairobi, Kenya.  Prior to my teaching career, I attended Wartburg College and University of Northern Colorado.  I played collegiate softball and sang in a jazz choir on a scholarship as well. I obtained my license in Early Childhood Education and extended my license by adding the Elementary Education Endorsement.  I am also working toward obtaining my Gifted Education Specialist Endorsement and have plans to finish my Masters Program.  I can't wait to learn right along side my students and continue to grow both as an educator and student.

Blogging:
I will be creating three blogs (which are highlighted below).  They cover Theme, Literacy, and Math.  All of my blogs support RSS, so you can watch just the blogs that interest you by subscribing to them on the blog pages. 

Grading:
I try my best to have all grades for the previous week updated on Infinite Campus (IC) by Sunday evenings. If you ever have any questions please let me know via e-mail! You can access IC directly by clicking on the Infinite Campus link to on the menu to the left.   If an *m is entered as the score the assignment is missing, if the score is blank the assignment grade has not yet been entered.
